［位置定位］ 在足部外踝后方，当外踝尖与跟腱之间的凹陷处。
［解剖］ 有腓骨短肌；有小隐静脉及外踝后动、静 脉；布有腓肠神经。
［主治作用］ 头痛，项强，目眩，癫痫，难产，腰骶疼 痛，脚跟肿痛。
［配伍］ 配风池治头痛、目眩。
［附注］ (l)足太阳经所行为“经”。(2)《针灸大成》：“妊妇刺之落胎。”
